Olá, nesse vídeo eu vou falar sobre os idiomas que quero aprender.
Bom, meu objetivo principal agora é ficar muito bom no alemão. Eu acho que é muito difícil… eu acho que você consegue aprender vários idiomas até um nível intermediário, mas querer ficar muito bom em vários idiomas é muito difícil. Eu agora eu tenho um nível muito bom em inglês e espanhol, mas eu gosto muito do alemão. Eu queria muito chegar em um nível bem alto em alemão talvez um C1 ou C2.
Mas… o outro idioma que eu gostaria de aprender é o Russo eu gosto muito da língua russa eu acho o som do idioma muito bonito, eu acho a cultura muito interessante, eu tenho muita curiosidade de poder acompanhar o que tá acontecendo na Rússia também. Mas, o russo para mim também é interessante porque foi a primeira língua que eu tentei aprender sozinho. Eu não consegui porque eu tentei aprender ela basicamente estudando gramática, memorizando tabela de conjugação e fazendo coisas desse tipo. Recentemente, eu tentei aprender de novo eu consegui ir muito longe. Eu avancei muito rápido no idioma, gostei muito do meu progresso. Esses dias inclusive eu assisti um vídeo em russo e eu conseguir entender boa parte dele, mas eu tive que parar porque eu tenho um outro objetivo agora que é aprender libras.
Libras é a língua brasileira de sinais. É o idioma que os surdos usam para se comunicar aqui no Brasil e é uma experiência totalmente diferente de aprender uma língua falada, né? Mas, eu quero aprender para o meu projeto na faculdade e porque eu sempre tive curiosidade de aprender uma língua de sinais e tentar aplicar os mesmos princípios que eu uso na hora de aprender idiomas falados, porque uma língua de sinais é uma língua como qualquer outra língua. A única diferença é que eles usam sinais ao invés de palavras e eles são mais visuais do que auditivos na hora de expressar as coisas.
Também outros idiomas que eu tenho vontade de aprender são japonês e mandarim. Eu acho que são idiomas extremamente interessantes. Eu acho a(s) cultura(s) extremamente interessante(s), eu tenho muita curiosidade pela cultura, eu gosto muito do sistema de escrita. Então, eu tenho muita vontade de por exemplo quando eu entro em um site na internet e vejo os Kanjis, ou alguma coisa escrita em chinês, ou em japonês eu quero muito ter essa sensação de poder entender o que tá escrito. E são culturas muito diferentes, então eu também tenho muito interesse de entender mais como eles enxergam o mundo.
E, por último, eu também me interesso muito pelas línguas do oriente médio, principalmente o árabe e persa e também as outras línguas da região. Eu acho muito interessante… eu acho que o sistema de escrita um dos mais bonitos que tem e eu acho também que é uma outra parte do mundo, é uma outra cultura, é uma cultura também bastante antiga e também seriam outros idiomas que eu pretendo aprender futuramente.

My main goal now is to get really good at German. I know this is hard. You can learn several languages up to an intermediate level, which allows you to fully function in it. However, wanting to get really advanced in several languages is quite hard to achieve. Right now, I believe I have what’s considered to be C1/C2 in Spanish and English, but I really like German and I would like to get it up to a C level as well.

Another language I would like to learn is Russian. I really like the Russian language. It sounds beautiful and the culture is really interesting. I also would like to keep up with what’s going on in Russia, since they are on the news all the time.
Russian was also one of the languages that I tried to learn by myself, but failed. I failed because I tried to learn by studying grammar, memorizing conjugation tables and the like. Actually, I did try to learn it again recently and managed to go very far! I progressed quite fast and enjoyed the process a lot. The coolest thing is that I watched a video in Russian and I managed to understand a lot of what was going on!
However, I had to stop, because now I have to learn Libras.
Libras is the Brazilian sign language and is the language that deaf people use to communicate here in Brazil. It is a completely different experience from learning a spoken language. But, nevertheless, I always wanted to learn and now I decided to do a project for college about it. I always wanted to apply the same principles and methods I used with spoken language – since sign languages are languages like any other, just in a different modality. The main difference is that they use signs instead of words (and these have lots of elements that can change meaning, like facial expression and movement) and are extremely visual when expressing things.
Other two languages that I want to learn are Japanese and Mandarin. I think they are extremely interesting languages. I really like the cultures, but I’m particularly curious about the writing systems. I really want to be able to understand what is written. I want to get into a website fully written in Mandarin or Japanese and have that feeling of understanding what’s written there. I would really love to know more about their cultures as well.
And finally, I am also very interested in the languages of the Middle East, especially Arabic and Persian. I find them awesome and I think that the writing systems are one of the most beautiful ones that there are. For me, it is also a completely different part of the world. Another culture, another way of seeing life. Those would definitely be languages I intend to learn in the future.
