Meet and learn languages together online
Do you know tandems or language café’s? These are events where people host and join language conversations. They are a great opportunity for language learning, but usually participants don’t take home much new vocabulary.
Well, we have found a way to make these exchanges 10x more effective! Our app makes it easy to record phrases during a sessions, and share them with the group. We work with online group conversations and your host records phrases for you to practice afterwards.
This way, just ask your host to record a sentence for you, if
- You want to say something, but don’t know how;
- You mispronounce something;
- You make a mistake;
You can practice the result as a flashcard with native audio using our app.
We offer two types of conversations: Lingo Sessions and Conversation Sessions.
Lingo Sessions
Once a week we host a language exchange with people from all over the world. Native speakers host sessions and discuss interesting topics with a group learners. Thanks to our app you can remember up to 30 sentences from one session.
Currently we can guarantee that there will be German, Spanish, and Portuguese sessions. There will also be opportunities for other languages, depending on who joins. We cannot guarantee how many people will join, nor that your target language will be available on that day. But it’s definitely fun anyways.

Conversation Sessions
Do you want to be sure that your session takes place? And do you prefer small groups (1-5 learners)? That’s what our Learners membership is for, where you can join four sessions per month for any language you like.
You can sign up for any language, and we will find a teacher who can work with Lingophant and start a new group.
