How others share

Did you know that Amazon Audible, just for uploading and hosting books, takes up to 75% of the money customers pay!? (Or a minimum of 60% if authors exclusively sell it their book Audible, and pay like 3000-4000€ for the voice recording themselves). That means that only 25-40% of the money reaches the author or even just the publisher. Also platforms like Spotify take 30% of the income, just for hosting simple audio files and an app.

With Lingophant, we have to do much more work.

And still we want to fairly and transparently share the profits with all those involved in the success of a course. In exchange for providing the course- and app infrastructure, the payment fees, we keep 30% of the course revenue after taxes.

The remaining 70% is a pool for the creators, based on the effort they have put into it. For each hour of work, people get a share in the course. This is done according standard rates and efforts per video.
