Compared to Duolingo
I have honestly spend 8 years working on this, and have not met a single person that learned a language with Duolingo.
That said, there are some further things to note before my comparison:
- Unlearning things you learned the wrong way takes more time than learning them right. Ask any musician.
- Duolingo is a publicly traded company that’s worth $6-8 Billion. I don’t understand how that’s possible.
- They do have a wide range of resources, such as Duolingo stories and some grammar explanations. But their app is terrible.
- What I dislike most is that it forces you to practice content you already know. Even though you said you know it, you still have to go through it. Eeewl. How annoying.
- For any further questions, just watch some reviews on YouTube.
And if you think about it, it’s a huge waste of money even if you’re not paying for it. If there’s something that doesn’t work, and you spend 20 hours on it, and every hour is worth 20$, you have just lost 400$.
Better learn with us and donate part of that once you’re successful hehe.
